Spirito Santo Palazzo Storico - Adults Only

Beautiful property, clean, beautifully decorated. The room we stayed in was at the top of the property with a sea view terrace, it was stunning. There were 29 steps up to this room not a problem for us. The air conditioning was the best at this property I have experienced. Location was central, perfect. Breakfast was a mix of continental or something cooked fresh. Staff went above and beyond, they are certainly attentive, from the welcome drink/chocolate, to the room being ready early, special mention to those at breakfast particularly the young lady who served us every day and Marco who organised our transfer. The staff here have a subtle attention to detail, clearly working as a team which makes your stay easy and seemless, thank you for a great holiday.

From first arrival the reception was excellent - a complimentary glass of wine and chocolate, shown to our lovely room. It was not very big but was beautifully fitted out and very clean. The whole hotel was a surprise as it was very quirky and historic in its core structure. The staff were very attentive, the breakfast was excellent and the waitress who served us everyday was very friendly. The location of the hotel is also perfect as it is directly off the main old town and one can easily walk to restaurants, the harbour area and historic peninsula with beautiful sunsets!

Sadly we only took advantage of the included breakfast on our second/last day. Our fault. We missed that point when Luca was telling us about Spirito Santo. We were both kicking ourselves when we did "finally' enjoy a fantastic breakfast in a truly unique setting. We did enjoy a wonderful dinner in the restaurant one night too. Amazing beef cheeks... literally melt in your mouth and lamb chops to 'die' for. Lots of great restaurants in Rovinj and with only 2 nights to spend there, this restaurant was definitely the best choice. I have to add that Luca and the staff were so very friendly and so helpful with our heavy luggage. We drove all around Croatia and had to use a private parking area for our rental. Luca helped with the luggage from the lot to the hotel making our stay just that much better. It is 'the little things".

Nice little Hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Great location to explore Rovinj. First class dinner in the restaurant and everything you can wish for breakfast. We arrived by car and got picked up at the last roundabout before the pedestrian zone. From there we got escorted to the parking lot and transferred to the hotel by Luca in a golf cart.

Although we were most days of the week pretty much the only guests, the staff and the service was amazing. Breakfast is great and the evening restaurant costwise high, but qualitywise outstanding. The beds are very comfortable and the room-service excellent.
